The diaphragm is fixed with a metal threaded ring that can be rotated for the desired mode
Mode A: Filter Noise
Rotate the rim to its tightest position
Mode B: Listen clearly
Rotate the rim about 30 degrees from the fully
Mode C: Listen Loudly
Rotate the rim to about 60 degrees from the fully tight position
The stethoscope head uses advanced technology to allow adjusting of diaphragm tension
Pressure sensitive head
The frequency response can be selected by changing the pressure on the chest piece.
Lower Frequencies 40–150Hz
Apply low pressure for low frequency response suitable for heart and lung sounds
Suitable for Heart sounds, Breathing sounds, Bowel sounds.
Higher Frequencies 280—500Hz
Apply more pressure for mid frequency response suitable for murmurs
Suitable for Heart murmurs, Rales.
